Natural interaction allows control and management of digital content in medical settings. Its nature allows access to information in situations and environments where it is difficult to use common computer with keyboard and mouse, for example in surgical procedures where doctors must use instrumentation and/or can not manipulate other objects due to hygienic reasons. In these cases, the gesture control and/or voice control opens the door to the digital world. Moreover, gestural control also improves the visualization of medical data due to the similarity with real manipulation. This enables a better diagnosis by doctors and a greater understanding of pathologies by patients.
